8/23/2023 0 Comments Reddit hill climb racing 2![]() It perhaps goes without saying, but when you’re riding uphill, gravity is always trying to pull you back down. I would love to see both of those reverted back except for the events. How low can you go? 4.5kg in this case. They also changed the downforce on the formula so that it no longer works upside down which makes some previous track records unattainable. Just a guess here, but I believe the fume boost was changed for the events like you said. I'm off work today and will try to get new records up tonight.ģ. Only problem is that it takes quite some time to go top to bottom with all the records, and I just haven't lately. I did it that way because it seemed like the easiest way to get everyone's records all in one go. Currently all the records for hcr2 on here are from the "friends" a separate account that I set up just for that purpose. I got a promotion at work which cut out a lot of my free time. ![]() Yes the records on here are very outdated. Something that probably needs a little more discussion to see people's preferences.Ģ. Unfortunately a lot of mobile users don't even know there is a wiki. But it seems more like something that should be in the wiki. A general description of the vehicles and recommendations as a stickied post would be fine with me. So the first two questions are mostly directed at me since I'm supposed to be the HCR2 mod.ġ. Maybe they will reset the high scores if they introduce a new game mechanic or do some major buffs/nerfs, but this is comparatively minor, so I'd rather opt for something else than a full reset to be honest. But you have a valid point, that some kind of method must be found, if changes of whatever nature are made in future updates. I don't really want to do my +23k run on forest again, or my +7k on city (where I didn't even use the fume boost in the first place). I also thought about removing the high-scores, but I think that is harsh. If they are more interested they can check the wiki, or a respective sticky post could direct to it as well, which also kind of adresses /u/ihearttehcoffees's very valid point. So when talking about cost, I'd say its either cheap, average or expensive, but not give them detailed costs other than "Formula costs +4mill to upgrade fully while Super Diesel only costs xx" and so forth. I kind of have 3-4 criteria for a vehicle: cost, effectiveness in adventure, effectiveness in races, effectiveness in weekly events (the last one bing not THAT important). ![]() I think this would be good as an add-on information, but it is not what new players search for. Those spreadsheets with the cost might even be too much information for a general introduction to vehicles. I thought that it might be possible to revert the fume boost to its original workings for the adventure mode (and maybe also the cups, to ensure "compatibility" with the high scores), and leave it as-is for the weekly events. This is a little bit sad, because the high scores are now a bit. Many of the adventure high scores are now quite hard to beat beat, or really impossible, with the fume boost no longer working in mid-air. I understand why it has been nerfed, but it comes with a big flaw, in my eyes. Further it might be possible and to introduce a high score of the "total best" (displayed in the adventure tab).ģ) The Fume Boost in HCR2. It is surely hard to tell which high score is real or fake, but since it is called "community high scores", we can still allow high scores of people that post here or of people that are known to be credible (if that makes sense). Makes everything easier and we don't have to explain it over again :PĢ) There are no records yet for Desert Valley, and I don't know whether or not the displayed records are outdated. I thought it might be possible to create a summary of all the vehicles (pros and cons) and make a sticky post on /r/HillClimbRacing. I have 3 things I want to discuss with you people, and even though they are not related I decided to put them in one post.ġ) For the last month or so, every now and then people ask for vehicle advice.
